OUR LAST
WORKSHOP
"Tree of Live" at
BKLYN CLAY
Last October 28th, at night we were creating a beautiful communal piece, with the concept of the "tree of life" and incorporating the idea of community with the re-interpretation of the archaeological find of the "Ronde of friends in a circle" piece found in the Mexican territory, with pre-Hipanic characteristics.
Reinterpreting the collective construction, the work between potter families and the narration of our current concept of community.

Each participant will create several miniature sculptures that will be added one by one to a larger piece based on the design of the pre-Hispanic ceramic “Tree of Life” from Mexico. We used different manual modeling techniques to make the small sculptures that were combined into a unique shape.
